Our machines are built among two architectures :

"one-column architecture"

"Gantry-type architecture"

   For small-size parts

    - transversal  < 500 mm
    - Vertical  < 400 mm

  • The technical choice of mobile columns suppresses radically  the unbalancing effect of a crossed-table system.

  • An increase in height for the transversal axis on the table reduces even more the unbalancing risks.

  • The operator stays continually close to the part he is grinding.

For large-sized parts

    - 3000 x 1500 x 655

  • Stable, rigid and accurate machine. It enables machining large parts.

  • A gantry structure reduces up to 30 to 50% the ground surface occupied by the machine.

  • The symmetrical architecture of the machine favours the repartition of calorific exchanges and limits the influence of dilatations in the machining area.

Technological advantages

For any architecture, the LGB grinding machine are coming from modern techniques which have all the benefits:
  • No heating :   Absence of hydraulics
  • No transmission of vibrations :   Transmission of table movements by a polyurethane strongly braided with steel.
  • No maintenance :  Asynchronous engine with variation of frequency on all axes (Leroy Somer)
  • Silent : 70 dB only
  • Low cost
